Pineapple Sorbet

Description

You won't believe how easy this is to prepare.  Try to find as ripe a pineapple you can.  To test for ripeness:  If one of the inner leaves come off easily or if the fruit smells delicious and sweet, it's ripe!  The dehydrated pineapple intensifies the flavor and holds the shape of the frozen scoop longer.

Ingredients

1 large, fresh pineapple, peeled and cored

1/2 cup dehydrated pineapple, minced

 

 

Methods/steps

Cut the fresh pineapple into 2" chunks.  Transfer to a high-speed blender.

Add the dehydrated pineapple, and puree until smooth and creamy.

Freeze the mixture until firm.

Scoop into serving bowls.  Serve immediately.  Enjoy!
