A great protein packed, nutrient dense smoothie recipe by Callie England! She says, "This Protein Smoothie Bowl is a personal fav of mine, as I love the contrast of the crunchy raw granola with the creamy smoothie. Plus, the chewing makes me actually feel like I’m eating something – which, at times, can be a nice feeling (ha)." 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (I use Sun Warrior blend – the kind sans rice protein)
1/4 c hemp protein powder
1 T mesquite powder
1 T ashwagandha root powder (great for thyroid!)
2-4 T raw granola
In a high speed blender, combine all ingredients except for granola. Blend until smooth and pour into glass. Top with granola and enjoy!
