This recipe also includes plenty of hemp seeds for their creamy texture and wonderful abundance of complete protein and omega 3 fatty acids. Let your tastes be the judge of the exact amounts of ingredients to add to this recipe. If your mangos are especially ripe and juicy you may need less liquid or vise versa. The addition of chai spice gives this recipe an authentic Indian flare!
2 Large fresh ripe organic Mangoes
½ cup of organic hemp hearts (can substitute coconut meat instead)
1 teaspoon of chai spices. (If you don’t have a blend of either Chai spice, you can substitute for a pumpkin pie spice, or simple add a little cinnamon, clove and cardamom.)
1 cup of either almond milk, coconut milk, or coconut water. You can also use pure filtered water, just add a little more hemp seeds to your mix for a little more creaminess.
Blend ingredients in a Vitamix, Blendtec or other high powered blender until smooth and delicious!
