Raw Vitality Burgers

Description

Serve these scrumptiously filling raw vegan vitality burgers between two crisp romaine leafs with avocado slices and fresh red onion. Complete the presentation with a dolup of raw mustard and ranch sauce for a special treat that will impress anyone lucky enough to take a bite. Recipe adapted from Rene Oswald's book ''Transitioning to Living Cuisine''.

Ingredients

Part 1)

1 carrot

1/2 stalk celery

1/2 medium courgette (zucchini)

Part 2)

1/2 cup pumpkin seeds

1/4 cup almonds, soaked

3/4 cup pine nuts

1/4 cup chia gel

1/4 oz dulse

Part 3)

1/4 cup flax seed meal

1 red onion chopped

1/2 small garlic clove

1 mini fennel bulb chopped

pinch of pink salt

 

 

 

 

Methods/steps

1) Blend part 1 up using S blade and transfer to a mixing bowl

2) Blend part 2 up using S blade and transfer to the mixing bowl

3) Blend part 3 and added them to the others in the mixing bowl and make burger patties and dehydrate at 112F-118F for 16 hours in total.
